Re: FFFC!
I have had such terrible gas this week that the thought has crossed my mind many times that maybe I'm pregnant, since that was my worst symptom so early on. I am 99.9% sure that I'm not, but I might take a test anyways just to ease my mind.
And this is more of a vent than a confession...
I was totally a b!tch to DH last night and told him I don't sympathize with him being tired just because he has to get up for work at 5:45. I said that it's one thing to have to get up early, but he gets up, goes to work, and comes home to dinner being made. Yes, it's a long day for him, but I have to get myself and Lily up and out the door (most days I am late to work even if I get up earlier), I have to pick her up after work, try to make dinner and feed her.
I apologized for making that comment. I know he's allowed to be tired and complain; we both are. I just feel like I never get a break. And I'm pretty sure he's looking forward to his next rotation because he doesn't go in to work until 1 and gets the whole morning to himself 3 days a week. And he doesn't get home until 11, so I am on my own from the moment I wake up until he gets home, plus my work day thrown in the middle of it...He did say he never thought he'd see the day where he yearned for a 9-5 schedule. Ugh, something's gotta give. I'm getting seriously worn out, and fast.

Re: Farting
I've totally been just letting them rip. I understand old people a lot better now that I'm pg and have very little control over my farts.
Is it bad that I'm kind of hoping you're pg again, Shaz? You just make such cute babies!
Re: DH
I'm sorry you've been having to pull so much of the weight! I feel like that a lot, too, and I don't even have my LO yet! You're such a good wife and mom - hang in there!
Thanks, hun! It's amazing how my thoughts on spacing kids apart has changed now that Lily is here. I'd gladly have them closer together. That would mean giving up BF and getting AF, though, and I don't know how long it would take to get AF and then subsequently, get pregnant again. I'm not ready to stop BF yet.
As far as stuff with DH....I naively thought we'd be one of those rare couples whose relationship isn't negatively affected by having a baby. The truth is, we don't put each other first anymore and we need to make a change, because I don't like who we've started to become as a couple, nagging over stupid *** and resenting each other. But we know we need to make the change, have talked about it, and are implementing a schedule of date nights going forward. It's so hard not living near family and not having a real trusted babysitter yet.

1. I am going to take a pregnancy test this weekend because we've had sex without BC twice in the last month (both more than two weeks ago) and I keep having weird twinges. I also have been totally irritable, and food has been grossing me out. I haven't wanted to eat dinner all week.
2. My birthday is April 8th, and I have already put way too much consideration into the type of cake that I want. Red Velvet? Reese's Bomb? Dairy Queen Ice cream cake? A variety of cupcakes? Sigh.
ETA: I would be 100% ok with a BFP, and part of me even hopes for one. I'm nuts.
This is huge! Knowing that you need to make the change is a great first step
I wish I lived closer because I would watch L for you ALL THE TIME!
Moar babies! Mooooaaaaar!

Shaz- like BB said knowing is the first step and now you can work towards fixing it. I think date night is a great idea but if you can get a breakfor just you I think that would be huge as well. I know your schedules are crazy but I think a little break could be just what you need.
Whippet-I can't wait to hear the news
also now I am thinking about cake...
My FFFC-I cannot stop drinking caffeine. I only had one pepsi or one coffee a day while I was pregnant and now I am up to at least 3 cups a day but usually more. When we start ttc #2 I want to be healthy and drink more water. I know I should start now but I get headaches when I drink less and honestly I just don't want to.

I am irrationally upset about not being able to get my mani/pedi last weekend. I had looked forward to it all week long and it was the only hour I had been able to get out of the house for literally the entire week.
The salon was crowded so I waited with my feet in the tub thingy for an hour. My H called while I was there because he really couldn't handle her alone and inadvertently guilted me into coming home. I rushed home to feed her but when I got home he had just finished giving her a bottle. ::sigh::
I had basically stopped biting my finger nails when S was born and really was looking forward to having nicely manicured hands when I went back to work. Instead, I began biting them again this week and now *if* I get my mani/pedi this weekend, my nails won't look half as nice as they would have last weekend.
I feel like such a brat being frustrated with this, but I was really looking forward to it and am still disappointed in how everything worked out.
After 31 cycles and two losses, we've been blessed with a healthy baby girl!
Congrats to both of my amazing TTC Buddies, tdmd09 and sb2006!!

My cats have this worm toy that they love. They all play with it more than any other toy. After finding it in the laundry and the trash a couple of times, I decided they needed some backups in case this one accidentally gets thrown out or something.
I looked online and I guess they don't make them anymore because they are kinda pricey, but I bought them anyway. $14 for 4 worms. 3 got put in a drawer and one is already being played with. I know that I spent too much, but I love seeing them happy.
